Long-Term Care Certified Nursing Assistant Opportunity

Job Summary
Under the supervision and guidance of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN), the CNA assists with direct residents/patient care within the scope of their practice and supports the patient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Record patient medical history accurately.
- Participate in collecting accurate data on residents, including vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information as assigned.
- Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) for residents.
- Observe residents carefully and report changes in condition to Charge Nurse.
- Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
- Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
Requirements
- Valid MO certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely using proper body mechanics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
