What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Ozark Roofing and Construction?
Summary of Position:
The Project Manager position will coordinate the daily production activities of the Roofing Division for Ozark. This individual will use their industry training and knowledge to effectively complete projects with the assistance of your teammates (Construction Coordinators, Superintendents, Production Foreman and Production Crews) to effectively manage and complete projects within budget and within accepted schedules. The position requires an individual who can effectively communicate with customers, teammates, superiors, and subordinates to manage roofing projects through completion. The Project Manager will report directly to the Principal. This individual will work closely with the Principal on the daily running of the operations as a whole as well as weekly reviews of projects (budgets and schedules) to determine future needs and improvement opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Maintain customer relationships by providing a great experience and presenting a professional image in terms of both appearance as well as the finished product (repairs or installations).
· Maintain a professional personal appearance during all meetings and site visits.
· Communicate with team members in a timely manner to effectively complete projects
· Manage the completion of projects with assigned production crews with quality, customer service, and profitability.
· Complete inspections on a weekly basis of projects in process.
· Prepare and plan for upcoming jobs with the estimating team and construction coordinator.
· Meet with the Production foreman to review assigned projects prior to job start to discuss expectations and project scope.
· Work with Construction Coordinator on permitting for upcoming projects.
· Assist the Principal in recruitment and the hiring of production crews.
· Assist in the development and quality control of projects for our manufacturer certifications.
· Assist the Principal with stock and tool needs for upcoming jobs or crews.
· Assist the Principal with the overall planning and scheduling for the production operations.
· Assists all levels of management, as assigned.

Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 7 or more years of experience in commercial roofing across all applications (BUR, MODIFIED, TPO, PVC, EPDM, METAL, COATINGS, and METAL FLASHINGS)
· 5 or more years of experience with steep slope systems across all applications (Asphalt Shingles, Tile, and Metal)
· 2 years or more of related experience or equivalent.
· 1-5 years as a foreman or a senior technician with similar responsibilities.
· 2 years as a superintendent or equivalent.
· 5 years as a project manager for a roofing company.
· Must hold a valid and active Driver’s License
· Own or obtain personal hand tools necessary for the trade.
· Must be able to pass background and drug screen checks.
· Five or more years of experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment requiring heavy telephone, and e-mail interaction.
· Strong mobile computing skills via smart phone or table
· Strong experience with mobile work order systems
· Good communication skills both written and oral.
· Able to communicate in Spanish fluently is a plus.
· Technical training from manufacturers is a plus.

Physical Demands:
· Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
· Ability to work in hot environments during all seasons.
· Ability to lift and set up ladders in a safe manner.
Work Environment:
This is a fast-paced, teamwork-based environment.
Travel Requirements:
There will be occasional travel required over the weekends as work requires.
