SUMMARY: Responsible for specific assigned customers usually based in a geographic area, and responsible for growth of assigned base, and development of a new customer base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Responsible for retention and growth of the immediate consumption customer base.
- Responsible for building business relationships with current and new customer base.
- Target and develop selling strategies for company accounts.
- Responsible for prospecting new business leads.
- Develop call plan for all existing accounts.
- Resolve customer concerns and issues.
- Take necessary steps to ensure that the customer receives reliable service, with responsive and value added.
- Prepare/deliver sales presentations.
- Responsible for execution of sales and marketing promotions/programs for assigned customer base.
- Implement product pricing.
- Responsible to execute the company’s portfolio management program to ensure that assets are being deployed in areas that will yield the maximum financial return.
- Promote and maintain Special Event business in territory.
- Communicate account activities to designated parties.
- Complete required paperwork daily for assigned accounts.
- Participate in sales team meetings.
- Develop and follow store visitation rotational schedule.
- Train, evaluate, and develop team members.
- Other tasks as assigned by Management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead, manage, and supervise subordinate staff. Maintain direction and compliance with Company’s policies and applicable regulations/laws.

- Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with one (1) to three (3) years sales experience. Associate degree preferred.
- Language Skills: Ability to read. Ability to respond to common inquiries.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied in both written and verbal format.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid CDL driver’s license, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within Company MVR policy guidelines.
- Other Skills and Abilities: None.
- Other Qualifications: Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack to lift/move product. Valid driver’s license, current liability insurance certificate, and driving record within MVR policy standards. Must be able to use personal vehicle during normal business hours.
