Ozarks Community Hospital in Springfield, MO has an immediate opening for a full-time Patient Accounts Representative within our Patient Finance Department.

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for the manual and electronic posting of payments and adjustments to the accounts receivable systems and other related responsibilities including spreadsheet preparation, research and filing.
The most significant duties have been included in this description. This does not preclude the assignment of occasional additional or developmental duties. The Hospital/Clinic reserves the right to modify this job description as needed to accurately reflect duties assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years medical billing and/or collection experience, or coding experience preferred.
- Data entry and word processing beyond an entry level
