POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The (Job Title) at Ozarks Regional YMCA maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals. The Health Coordinator at Ozarks Regional YMCA ensures that overnight camping programs meet community needs by working with nurses and camp staff to organize, maintain, and utilize resources for serving the medical needs of campers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor, organize and ensure the safety of medications and supplies in Health Center.
- Ensure the dispense of any medication, first aid and supplies with written dispense instructions.
- Maintain document detail of medication given out.
- Maintain and submit records of incidents that come through the Health Center.
- Keep equipment and areas clean and organized at all times.
- Inventory and request supplies within area of scope.
- Respond and/or assist to emergency situations.
