Position Summary
The Health Sciences Operations and Resource Specialist assists employees with day-to-day activities supporting the mission of the Health Sciences Division.
Essential Job Duties
Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting with frequent interruptions and distractions. Requires extended periods of time viewing computer monitor or standing; may require adjustment of schedule to include some evening and/or weekends; may encounter occasional exposure to inclement weather during travel.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.

Essential Job Duties
- Coordinate and process all clinical site affiliation agreements for all Health Sciences programs.
- Manage, coordinate and process background checks for students accepted into Health Sciences programs.
- Coordinate and maintain records for all student drug screenings.
- Prepare certificates of completion for students and professional development participants.
- Manage, coordinate, and process scanning of confidential student files.
- Manage, coordinate, and process production of student clinical site ID badges.
- Arrange and coordinate catering for all Health Sciences meetings and events.
- Survey alumni, process and analyze the data to present to the program directors.
- Assist in collecting, reviewing and processing student application paperwork.
- Receive and distribute mail.
- Assist with the advisement of students, recruiting events, and the Health Sciences front desk as needed.
- Assist with updating the Health Sciences webpage.
- Assist in maintaining service of Health Sciences office equipment.
- Answer telephone calls, emails and walk-in inquiries or refers to the appropriate individual.
- Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
- Comply with college policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including attending college functions, serving on committees and attending community events.
- Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use information technology for professional productivity (such as Microsoft Office Suite).
- Experience with Colleague.
- Working experience within a collegiate setting.
