Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Industrial HVAC Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in an industrial setting.

Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively, while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

The primary duties and responsibilities include :

Inspecting HVAC systems and their components (e.g., heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend and complete preventive maintenance
Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems and their components
Installing new HVAC systems and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure that HVAC systems operate efficiently
Documenting services and repairs completed and maintaining records
Ensuring compliance with standards of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) when handling refrigerants
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in industrial environments.
Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Coordinate with team members to complete projects on time and under budget.
Recommend modifications to systems as needed.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the HVAC industry.

Qualifications

Proven work experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in an industrial environment.

Thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.

Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

Ability to pass a Federal Background Check

Technical or trade school certification is a plus.

Technical Qualifications

Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of industrial heating and cooling equipment.

Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix HVAC problems in a timely and efficient manner.

Proficient in using various tools and equipment necessary for the job, including voltmeters, torches, and HVAC gauges.

Strong communication skills to clearly explain HVAC issues and potential solutions to clients, as well as work effectively with a team of other technicians.

Excellent attention to detail for accurate installations and repairs, as well as for identifying potential HVAC issues before they become major problems.

Physical stamina and strength for lifting heavy equipment and spending long periods on their feet.

Understanding of safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others.

Customer service skills to build strong relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction with the service.
