Administrative Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily administrative duties, ensuring efficient communication and record-keeping. This position requires strong computer literacy, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Calendar Management: Recording and monitoring employee vacations.
  • Communication Management: Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and distributing information to relevant parties.
  • Document Management: Creating, editing, and organizing documents, including letters, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
  • File Maintenance: Organizing and updating physical and digital files according to established systems.
  • Office Administration: Ordering office supplies, managing equipment maintenance, and coordinating office services.
  • Reception Duties: Greeting visitors and directing them accordingly.
  • Data Entry: Entering information into databases and spreadsheets
  • Basic accounting tasks: Daily reconciling of paperwork

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information

Education/Specialized Knowledge/Professional Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

  • Admin/Office experience

*Transportation Experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Based on experience

Expected hours: 40 per week (Monday thru Friday)
