The Bulk Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of cement and other related products in both rural and urban environments in all weather conditions This position serves to support the Ready-Mix concrete industry by providing the materials necessary in a timely manner and with the utmost safety for all parties utilizing the highway / roadway system along with their own safety.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Transportation :
Drive company-owned trucks in a professional manner to transport and deliver products or other materialsCheck vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working orderOperate equipment, such as truck cab computers and tablets to exchange necessary information with dispatch, supervisors, or other driversPre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and trailer to ensure safety as a priorityReport all on-duty accidents and any on-duty or off-duty violations, suspensions, disqualifications, or revocationsDrive trucks to weigh stations when appropriate along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulationsMaintain, protect and report vehicle defectsDelivery :
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crewCheck all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurateObtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when requiredEthical Conduct :
Knowledge and compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and company safety rules and regulationsMust be courteous, professional, safe, and have a positive attitude while working with customers, fellow employees, the public, state, county and city officersGlobal Responsibilities :
