We're Hiring : Terminal Operator!
Pay : $27.00 - $31.00 Hourly
This position will be working out of the following locations : Chinatown-Chicago | South Chicago Terminal | Joliet, IL
Are you ready to take on a critical role in terminal operations? Join our team as a Terminal Operator and play a vital part in ensuring efficient operations, accurate shipments, and a safe workplace.
What You'll Do :
- Safety First : Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to maintain a secure environment.
- Material Management : Handle materials like cement, slag, and fly ash, ensuring proper sorting, tagging, and identification.
- Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of loaders, bins, carts, and other equipment.
- Collaboration : Work closely with staff and drivers to ensure accuracy of loads and minimize errors.
- Flexibility : Adapt to changing work assignments and assist in multiple areas and locations as needed.
What We're Looking For :
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Certifications : TWIC Card preferred but not required.
Experience : Familiarity with general maintenance tasks and knowledge of cement terminal operations preferred.
Skills : Basic computer proficiency, strong communication skills, and a safety-oriented mindset.
