Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented soda fountain and draft beer line technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, cleaning and maintaining soda machines and draft beer systems. This role requires a mechanical mindset, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, a willingness to work night shifts and a clean driving record. The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with ice machines, their operation, service and maintenance. This is a 6-month term contract of night shifts, with the possibility of extending into a full-time, ongoing day-shift position for the right applicant.
Duties
- IF YOU HAVE NEVER WORKED ON SODA OR BEER SYSTEMS, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY AS YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
- Disassemble, clean, maintain and reassemble soda fountain equipment and draft beer systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair soda fountain equipment and draft beer systems.
- Bag in the box
- Brixing
- Installations
- Adjustments
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, safe and well-ordered condition.
- Complete and submit work order and expense documentation neatly and to completion, daily.
- Maintain company property including tools and vehicles to a high standard.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Strong understanding of soda fountain equipment, draft beer line systems and ice machines.
- Ability to read, understand and follow wiring diagrams
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and to follow direction.
- Excellent and concise written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
- Detail-oriented, mechanical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of commercial HVAC/R equipment and Universal EPA Certification would be preferred.
- Has full power tools and hand tools kit, including SAE and METRIC sizes.
- Sufficient physical ability and mobility to complete the job - including but not limited to bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, performing repetitive motions and lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling moderate to heavy weights.
- Clean driving record.
