Our growing Farmers Insurance Agency is seeking a confident, hard-working and highly driven individual to join our winning team. As an Insurance Sales Producer your primary responsibilities include selling insurance policies by generating leads, managing prospects & leads , making outbound calls / text / emails to prospective clients to generate appointments, maintaining appointment calendar and other marketing activities. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, be comfortable talking to prospective clients, a positive attitude, a strong desire to work hard and not afraid of rejection . Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred. This position is full time. We offer hourly base pay plus an opportunity for long term career advancement that includes commission and bonuses.

Responsibilities
Approach potential clients by phone, text, email and / or social media or in person.
Develop base for long term sources of clients by using referrals or groups
Determine the specific needs of particular clients by researching current coverage and available options
Answer questions related to coverage and premiums
Develop leads and schedule appointments
Utilize a customer focused, needs based review of client insurance options to educate clients
Obtain underwriting approval by completing application of coverage
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Licensed or Excited to obtain Property & Casualty and Life / Health License
Prior sales experience is preferred but not required
Bilingual in Spanish
Experience using programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs
Demonstrate ability and take entrepreneurial approach to growing business relationships
Detailed oriented, proactive attitude and strong communication skills
Organized and computer-savvy
Self-motivated and proactive in problem solving
