P.A.R.E.N.T.S., Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Supervisor to manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of the Kau programs, which include the Promoting Safe & Stable Families (PSSF) program and the parenting education programs, and staff, to further our mission of strengthening families by providing resources, skills, support and advocacy to create a cycle of positive parenting. The overall goal of the position is to promote safe and stable families by mitigating the risk of child abuse and/or neglect to the families that are referred to the program from Child Welfare Services (CWS). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing and providing ongoing support and expertise of the comprehensive assessments, planning and implementation and evaluation of the family's needs, the accountability for the care, coordination and discharge planning with the family; in-home visits, linkage to resources and completing required paperwork by deadline. This includes managing and maintaining participant databases and continuous quality assurance of the program and staff effectiveness and outcome measures.
Must have the ability to positively interface well with program participants, all departments and employees within the agency, as well as represent the Management and Administration in a highly professional manner. Must demonstrate the willingness to work with others, including clients coping with multiple issues, families that present safety issues, and co-workers, as part of a team. Must adhere to all company policies and contractual requirements.

Requirements: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field, from an accredited institution, and two (2) years of experience working with parents/caretakers who harmed or threatened their children with harm and children who experienced harm or were threatened with harm and who experienced trauma and loss. Additionally: Experience working with domestic violence, substance abuse and permanency issues. A Bachelor’s degree and four(4) years of relevant experience may replace the requirement for a Master’s degree.
This is a full-time position which requires working 40 hours per week, working flexible hours, may include nights, weekends and holidays as needed. The work schedule consists of office and field hours dependent on client and program needs.
Must be able and willing to travel frequently to all areas of East Hawaii. May also have to fly to Oahu. Must retain appropriate levels of insurance as mandated by agency requirements. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must own a motor vehicle that can hold car seats and children. Must be proficient with MS office products, including Word and Excel, and also Google Drive/docs.
Due to contractual requirements, applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered for the position.
Salary range: $50,000 - $55,000 annually
