Position Overview: As a Commercial Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing contracts and supporting our project teams. This role involves handling contract administration, tracking projects, and managing project accounting from start to finish. You’ll work closely with project managers and estimators while assisting with general administrative and accounting support. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from tracking jobs to closing contracts.
- Generate and manage purchase orders as needed.
- Assist with bid procurement and administrative tasks.
- Process pay applications and change order requests.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including photos, notes, and records.
- Handle preliminary notices, lien releases, and insurance certificates.
- Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure all closeout documents are complete before final payments to subcontractors.
- Provide general administrative and accounting support.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of college education preferred, but not required.
- HVAC, plumbing or construction administration experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Experience in a paperless work environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
