Armed Security Officer
We are looking for the right individual to join our team in Charlotte, NC! This is a full-time position that works a 10-hour shifts. Our site operated 24hr, Monday-Sunday with 3 shifts, Days (5am-3pm), Swings (1pm-11pm), and Mids (9pm-7am). Currently, all shift are on a 4 and 3 schedule, 4 working day and 3 day off. We work side by side with the Air National guard. There are four post that are assigned to the P&G Security. IEC, ISRT, ESRT, BDOC. All personnel start out as an IEC and move their way up to BDOC. Our training are conducted by the United State Air Forces and to their standards. Our primary duty are guarding the main gate of the installation, controlling who has access to the Air National Guard base.
Applicants with at least one year of verifiable security and/or customer service experience are desired, but we are always willing to speak with the right individual!
Work Requirements:
- Pass all firearms training including pistol (M18), shotgun (M870) and AR15 with an acceptable score (80% or higher).
- Ability to work all shifts; weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather
- Working cell phone and email for timekeeping and communication
- Detail and goal-oriented
- Of good moral character
- Possess good hygiene and have a neat and clean appearance
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must be able to obtain a Security Clearances
