Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm
Job Summary:
The Full-Line Technical Trainer is responsible for optimizing the on-boarding and technical skill development of our new & existing Full-Line employees, with particular focus on installation (in-house) and field support positions (pre-install inspectors and field support supervisors). This position assesses and develops skill-based educational needs across all training mediums to drive speed to skill proficiency. This role will directly facilitate all required training in the PHL market and will closely coordinate with market production management to ensure the completion of all local training and on-boarding requirements in accordance to established SOPs, curriculums, and timeframes as approved, & ensure all participants demonstrate a level of proficiency sufficient for release from training.
Duties/Responsibilities (in coordination with business area managers):
· Facilitate new and on-going training for full-line apprentices, installers, and field support.
· Assess on-going proficiency deficiencies and develop corrective training programs.
· Maintain and follow a comprehensive training calendar to ensure completion of all training needs.
· Ensure proficiency testing is utilized and track participant test score results.
· Conduct semi-annual or annual re-testing to ensure sustained proficiency of existing employees.
· Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
· Conducts ongoing training workshops with production managers & monitors market production adherence to established training protocols
· Ensure effective use of proficiency stations for firsthand training and proficiency progression.
· Develops library of self-paced modules and online video/interactive training channels with testing
· Serve as a subject matter expert on products, services & industry, providing guidance & assistance to team
· Manage all aspects of classroom/ jobsite training site preparation including creating/distributing agendas, product materials, scheduling invitations, managing rosters, etc.
· Measure the effectiveness & overall quality of training, including metrics reporting, the development of recommendations for improvement, program innovation & competitive analysis
· Encourage, motivate & inspire others to embrace learning & coach for behavior modification.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
· Strong coaching & mentoring abilities, with a track record of driving performance improvement
· Ability to lead & manage new learning & development projects from needs analysis to post-delivery evaluation
· Strong organizational, detail & goal orientation, communication & collaboration skills are required
· Foster a deep understanding of the production content required for this role
· Learner mindset & commitment to continuous improvement. Coachable & open to feedback
· Experience creating assessment tools to gauge retention
· Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
· Proficient or skilled in Microsoft Office suite as well as training software platforms
Education and Experience:
· Five years of direct experience in construction and project management
Physical Requirements:
· Driving and ladder work

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
