What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Construction Foreman position at P&M Renovations & Construction LLC?
POSITION OVERVIEW
The General Construction Foreman plays a significant part in the success of P&M Renovations & Construction. You will function as a field supervisor reporting to the assigned Project Manager. You will oversee daily operations at the worksite while working hands-on with your construction team to ensure project completion is done safely and on time. You may have the responsibility for multiple laborers/craft workers. You will also maintain positive working relationships with clients, suppliers, and job site staff.
**This is a hands-on working foreman position. Applicants must have working experience in commercial and/or residential construction. Carpentry experience is a must.
LOCATION

Upon relocation, housing and transportation is provided, and daily per diem is added to your salary. This position requires 100% travel.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate daily tasks on worksites according to priority, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel
- Direct, supervise, and troubleshoot routine issues that occur on the job site
- Monitor budgeting expenses for workers, supplies, or tools
- Prepare and report project progress to project manager on a weekly basis
- Delegate and supervise individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
- Develop work schedules based on employee and contractor needs and availability
- Manage and monitor employee attendance and work; supervise, train, and give feedback when necessary
- Review laws and regulations to maintain a safe work environment; ensuring safety rules are followed on the site at all times
- Ensure safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to travel throughout the United States
- Have a valid Driver's License
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening test
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Knowledge to operate an excavator and skid loader.
- Ability to perform physical labor and other physical tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
