About P&M Steel:
Founded in 1970 by Louis Profilet in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, P&M Steel Co. began as a small operation in the back of a machine shed. It quickly grew to cover six buildings across 3.3 acres, gaining a reputation as a regional industry leader by providing rebar, structural, and miscellaneous steel products. In 1998, Tate Profilet, Louis's son, took over operations. The company expanded in 2006 with a new 50,000-square-foot office and production facility on 7.5 acres. Today, P&M Steel Co. proudly serves a 200-mile radius around Sioux Falls as a full-service steel fabricator.
