Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a strong sense of duty, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
- Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or assist in investigations.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Participate in ongoing training programs related to conflict management, surveillance techniques, and emergency response.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is an asset.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Must possess a valid armed security guard license or certification as required by state regulations.
