Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Infant Teacher will implement age-appropriate curricula and engage children in meaningful activities that promote learning through play. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
Experience
- Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Experience in providing care for infants, toddlers, or children with special needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and children.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.77 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
