Senior Software Developer - AI/ML

P17 Solutions is currently seeking a skilled Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), developer to support AI/ML initiatives and lead a team of technicians and software developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML and natural language processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI and ML models and algorithms
• Lead a team of technicians and software developers in AI/ML projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, data engineers, and business analysts, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing to ensure high-quality input for model training and deployment.
• Evaluate, and optimize model performance to enhance accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies, tools, and methodologies, incorporating best practices into projects.
• Develop and maintain documentation for AI/ML projects, including model architecture, training procedures, and performance benchmarks.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Deploy AI/ML models into production environments and monitor their performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with ethical AI principles, data privacy regulations, and security best practices.
• Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and process improvement within the organization.
• Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• 7 years of hands-on experience in AI, ML, and NLP, with a proven track record of developing and deploying scalable models in production.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 15 years of hands-on experience in AI, ML, and NLP, with a proven track record of developing and deploying scalable models in production.
• Strong coursework in machine learning, deep learning, algorithms, data structures, probability theory, and statistics.
  

Technical Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in AI, ML, and Natural Language Processing (NLP), including model development and deployment.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques and tools, ensuring high-quality input for AI/ML models.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in feature engineering, big data tools (Hadoop, Spark), and MLOps pipelines.
• Experience with predictive maintenance and maintenance optimization.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Understanding of software development best practices and version control systems (e.g., Git).
