Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Service Plumber to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial settings. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in commercial plumbing systems, committed to delivering high-quality work, and provides excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Service & Repairs: Diagnose and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, valves, drains, water heaters, boilers, and other commercial plumbing components.
• Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Installation: Install and replace plumbing systems and components in commercial facilities per code and customer requirements.
• Troubleshooting: Identify plumbing issues, recommend solutions, and execute necessary repairs efficiently.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to provide clear explanations of issues, work performed, and preventive maintenance recommendations.
• Documentation: Accurately complete work orders, service records, and reports in a timely manner.
• Emergency Services: Respond to emergency service calls and be available for on-call rotation as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, contractors, and supervisors to complete projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a commercial plumber.
• Licensing: Valid plumbing license (Journeyman or Master, as required by state).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, including boilers, backflow systems, gas piping, and water distribution.
• Certifications (Preferred): Backflow Prevention Certification, OSHA 10/30, or other relevant credentials.
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
