In this strategic role, you will partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals, driving talent management, employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Collaborate with the SVP, People & Culture to develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization’s goals and objectives. Provide expert guidance on human capital management to contribute to the overall business strategy.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Assist in developing and enforcing standard operating procedures. Handle employee disciplinary actions and conduct thorough employee investigations to ensure fairness and compliance.
- Talent Management: Lead the onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent. Develop and execute strategies for talent development, succession planning, and workforce planning to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring the fair application of company policies. Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
- Retention and Turnover Management: Develop and implement proactive retention strategies to reduce turnover rates and enhance employee satisfaction. Analyze turnover data to identify trends and root causes, and design targeted interventions to retain high-performing employees. Conduct exit interviews and leverage insights to improve retention efforts.
- Performance Management Systems: Design and implement performance management systems, including goal-setting, feedback, and performance evaluations. Provide guidance on employee development and career progression to enhance workforce performance.
- Organizational Development Initiatives: Partner with business leaders to identify and address organizational development needs. Implement initiatives to boost employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall organizational effectiveness.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Mitigate HR-related risks through proactive policies and procedures.
- Total Rewards and Benefits Programs: Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Stay updated on industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
- HR Technology Optimization: Evaluate, implement, and optimize HR technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives. Communicate HR strategies effectively at all organizational levels to promote a positive employer brand.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) or similar role
- Strong understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
- Demonstrated expertise in retention and turnover management, including analyzing data and developing targeted strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead HR projects and initiatives
- Experience with HRIS and other HR technology solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
