We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation units.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency and prevent future issues.
- Install HVAC systems, including wiring, piping, and ductwork, according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining issues and providing recommendations for repairs or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely job completion and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date on the latest HVAC technology, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or technical school training preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
- EPA 608 certification required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with refrigerants, controls, and airflow diagnostics.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
