Job description
Since 1965, our family at Pride Plumbing has been privileged to provide quality plumbing repair and installation services to our neighbors throughout Montgomery County, Stanly County, and Richmond County with 50 years of experience.
We are now excited to offer Moore County our same great service. We are motivated by the mission statement that we put into place 50 years ago, to deliver superior workmanship and dependable plumbing service.
We are currently seeking a Septic truck driver to join our team.
Specific Job Requirements
- Driving Septic truck
- Ability to complete paperwork legibly and in an understandable manner, keeping work log of where septic's pumped and where truck emptied.
- Loading and unloading equipment
- Occasional towing of trailer
- Uncovering septic tank
- Cleaning and maintaining truck, and hoses daily
- Using Ipad to document information and collecting payments
- Problem solve and work well with others
- Ability to read a map
- Must present a professional image by arriving on time, wearing company uniforms, and being neat, and well-groomed
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
- Must have the ability to communicate with all clients and, in particular, have the ability to work with women
- Some hand digging and occasional installation of risers
- Background and drug test required
Salary Range & Status
- Full-time hourly position. Salary range is hourly $20-$23 per hour.
Working Conditions
- Typically, a 40-hour work week. Position does require additional hours during “on-call” rotation and when necessary to finish work in progress.
- Daily hours may vary from a 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Must be available for on-call rotation.
- Work includes working indoors and out, in inclement weather, and temperature extremes
Drug/Alcohol Testing/Motor Vehicle Testing
- Performed prior to employment and at random times during employment with no advanced notice. If position includes access to a company vehicle, motor vehicle checks will also be performed
General
- Ability to perform as a team player
- Other duties as assigned by manager
