Part-time/ PRN Position
P4 Pharmacy is a pharmacy based in South Jordan that offers its Pharmacy Technicians a career; not just a job. We are seeking to hire a Certified Pharmacy Technician that can be an intricate part of P4 Pharmacy. Someone who wants to work alongside other knowledgeable technicians and pharmacists in a small team setting, servicing long term care facilities in Utah.
The Company:
P4 Pharmacy is a closed-door pharmacy providing medications and services to long term care facilities (Assisted Livings, Group Homes, Youth Treatment Centers, and Hospice Agencies) throughout Weber, Davis, Salt Lake and Utah Counties. P4 Pharmacy is establishing itself as a company that provides great care for its customers and employees alike.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Primary role - cycle filling technician, bubble packs
· Receive and process written prescription and/or refill requests
· Fill prescriptions and emergency dose medications
· Verify all information is complete and accurate from customers
· Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications
· Respond and answer customer questions and/or requests
Minimum Requirements:
· Currently holds a pharmacy technician license in the state of Utah
· High school diploma or GED
· 1-year pharmacy technician experience (preferred)
· 1-year closed-door pharmacy experience (preferred)
· Experience in a customer support role
· Must understand current pharmacy procedures and practices
· Proficient with pharmacy operational systems
· Adequate knowledge of medications and narcotics
· Highly organized and detail oriented
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Part-time/ PRN

License: Utah Pharmacy Technician (Required)
Hours per week: Varies
Pay: DOE
