Program Description :
NuPaths prepares you to start a career in information or business technology. In this 26-week program, you will develop technology and computer skills to start a career as an Associate Website Developer, Junior Front-End Developer, Entry-Level Web Developer, or Web Developer. You can earn up to four (4) industry certifications from CompTIA, Adobe, Certiport, and Microsoft, seven (7) college credits, and a “Certificate of Achievement” from Harrisburg University.
The Associate Website Developer works with the marketing and graphic design teams to build and maintain websites for both desktop and mobile devices. They focus on web interfaces and user interactions throughout the application life cycle. This role encompasses testing and troubleshooting web and mobile applications and integrating new features to improve and optimize existing sites for mobile and desktop devices. Students also receive 18 hours of business skills training to prepare them for a professional work environment. The program is available in the classroom and online.
Career services support is provided to connect students with employers for internships, apprenticeships, or full-time employment. NuPaths is an approved Pre-Apprenticeship trainer and works closely with multiple regional firms to connect its students to apprenticeship opportunities.
