Title: Learning Management System Assistant
Department: Academic Affairs
Reports to: Director of Instructional Design
Job Status: Part Time; Hybrid
Required Skills:
• Complete familiarity with Canvas LMS
• Proficiency in downloading, uploading, and managing common file types (Word documents, PDFs, PowerPoint, images, MP4s, etc.) within the Canvas LMS.
• Familiarity with basic principles of web page design
• Ability to work independently following a guide/template
List helpful qualities/skills:
• Strong proofreading skills
• Familiar with best practices in online instruction
• Familiarity with basics of HTML and CSS a plus
• Prior teaching experience a plus
Required and Preferred Educational and Experience Qualifications:
B.S. in relevant field preferred; A.S. required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for taking courses built by subject matter experts and converting them to our Canvas LMS.
Salary Range: $20 per hour (Part time)
