What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1:1 School Nurse position at PA Lifesharing LLC?
Seeking a 1:1 Nurse to work with a student starting February 10th, 2025. You will be essential in providing quality patient care while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment. The student requires 1:1 support on transportation and throughout the school day. The van picks the nurse up at the school at 7:15 am and leaves from school to pick up the student. Then leave at the end of the day to take the student home, and the van brings the nurse back around 4:15 pm
RN- $52.00 -LPN- $43.00 per hour (urgently need 1:1 nurse to start by Feb 10th, 2025-at a Camp Hill School )

Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering student care
- Support students throughout the day at school with water flushes, feeding tubes, and personal care needs.
- Monitor students' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in handling student information.
- Collaborate with teachers, schools, and teams to provide comprehensive support.
Qualifications
- Currently, a graduate of a nursing program must have PA nurse licenses
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience or familiarity with medical records
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with school officials, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
