Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: Ensures the provision of high quality patient care. Ensures that all services are in compliance with all standards established by the NRC, state and local governments. Performs Scans on patients, using equipment correctly and according to manufacturer specifications. Sets up cameras for scans and changes colllimators. Understands and can accurately use PACS and Teleradiology systems, nuclear medicine equipment, computers and cameras. Demonstrates the ability to perform all thyroid procedures including I-131 therapies. Demonstrates proper technique in the handling and preparing and calculating of radiopharmaceutical doses, properly injects radiopharmaceutical using sterile technique. Enforces and maintains all requirements provided under the NRC's current regulations. Practices requirements of the NRC and maintains ALARA levels. Properly wears ring badges; maintains all personnel records. Accurately performs all requirements in hot lab and records all necessary information. Maintains and keeps current all dosimetry reports and badges. Requirements: HS graduate. Successful graduate from an AMA approved Radiology program Registered by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or certified CNMT. BCLS required.
