Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct inventory counts, including physical counts and weight audits, according to SOP and work procedures/instructions.
- Work closely and partner with facility business units to ensure accurate record keeping of plant material and finished product.
- Complete assigned data entry using the state mandated seed to sale system, MJ Freeway, as well as other applicable systems ensuring accuracy of data.
- Run various standard and ad hoc reports related to on hand inventory, distribution rates, etc.; compile data into reports that are easily understandable for end users.
- Support the Operations and Compliance Manager to complete state mandated audits within the facility by serving as a designated point of contact for facility business unit leaders; assist with year-end physical audits as well as ad hoc audits throughout the year.
- Assist with ensuring compliance with all PA Department of Health regulations.
- Document and help support the standardization of work procedures ensuring controls are in place for data and processing integrity.
- In collaboration with the Operations and Compliance Manager, oversee inventory for facility business units keeping clear records/documentation.
Cultivation duties and responsibilities:
- Under guidance from the Director of Cultivation, remain in constant communication with team members within the facility, ensuring accurate plant inventory.
- Continuously track, monitor, and update inventory levels; update Inventory Tracking System and MJ Freeway in real-time.
- Handle any seeds, immature medical marijuana plants, medical marijuana plants, and medical marijuana that are expired, damaged, deteriorated, mislabeled, contaminated, etc. until the seeds, immature medical marijuana plants, medical marijuana plants, and medical marijuana are destroyed or otherwise disposed of as required under regulation; involve a supervisor as needed/required.
Non-essential duties and responsibilities:
- Under guidance/direction from the Operations and Compliance Manager, assist with the scheduling and organization of product testing; schedule testing, create manifests, and oversee/manage/communicate testing results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED Required
- Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Logistics, or another related field is preferred.
- One to two years’ related inventory experience.
- One year data analysis experience is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management and adherence to first in/first out procedures.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and conflict resolution skills with the ability to lead and influence without authority.
- Analytical mindset with a drive to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members from other departments.
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced organizational skills.
