Job Overview: We are seeking a proficient and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Rice Lake, WI. This role involves working within a medically directed Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) model to provide anesthesia care for a diverse patient population, ranging from healthy pediatrics to geriatrics, including adults with complex comorbidities (ASA IV).

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for various case types including orthopedic, spine, general surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, dental, urology, and endo/ERCP procedures. No hearts or heads.

• Perform spinals and manage general anesthesia procedures; no epidurals or blocks.

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric dental restorations in the absence of an ENT physician.

• Manage IV calls, codes, and intubations in ICU/ED settings.

• Provide sedation for cardioversions and cataract surgeries.

• Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures, including robotic cases, non-trauma orthopedic cases, podiatry, C-sections, and GYN procedures.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time coverage with month on/month off scheduling to support work-life balance.

• All call shifts are in-house, ensuring comprehensive patient care and immediate response capability.

Qualifications:

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with current licensure.

• Experience in performing spinals and managing a broad range of anesthesia cases independently.

• Proficiency in anesthesia care for both pediatric and geriatric patients.

• Strong skills in handling complex comorbidities and high ASA classifications.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a medically directed ACT model.
