Compensation : $115 per hour
Job Summary : We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Emergency Department team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans; prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care, adhering to scope of practice regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with best practices in emergency medicine.
