Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient OBGYN
Location: Neptune City, NJ
Contract Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $125/hour
Jersey Shore University Medical Center is seeking a skilled Outpatient OBGYN Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a 6month locum tenens assignment. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive women’s health services in a busy outpatient setting, managing a patient load of 20–25 patients per day.
Position Details:
Role: Locum NP – Outpatient OBGYN
Duration: 6 months (start date flexible)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Patient Volume: ~20–25 patients/day
Call: None
Pay Rate: $125/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct well-woman exams, prenatal visits, and routine gynecologic care
Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures, including:
Colposcopy
Endometrial biopsy
Vulvar biopsy
Sonohysterogram
Loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP)
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Counsel patients on obstetric and gynecologic health, family planning, and preventive care
Document visits, procedures, and treatment plans accurately in the EMR
Requirements:
Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner with OBGYN focus
Active NJ NP license
Current CDS and DEA registrations
Proven experience performing OBGYN procedures listed above
Excellent patient communication and clinical assessment skills
