Urgent care APP

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a locum urgent care position covering two locations in Neptune City and Eatontown, NJ. This 6-month contract offers consistent shifts, competitive pay, and a chance to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

• Weekends: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Contract Length: April 9, 2025 – October 31, 2025

• Pay Rate: $110/hour

• Type: Locum Tenens

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent and episodic care for patients of all ages

• Diagnose and treat minor injuries, infections, and illnesses

• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care

• Order and interpret labs, X-rays, and other diagnostics

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR

• Work collaboratively with onsite medical team and support staff

Requirements:

• Active NJ PA or NP license

• Current and up-to-date CDS and DEA registrations (required)

• Previous experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred

• Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment

• Excellent clinical and communication skills
