Locum Physician Assistant – Urology

Reports To: Urologist / Practice Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician Assistant (PA) with urology experience for a temporary assignment in the heart of the Adirondacks. This role offers a chance to practice high-quality urologic care in a supportive, team-based environment while enjoying the scenic beauty of upstate New York.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of urology experience and the ability to manage both clinical and procedural aspects of patient care.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients/day

Compensation: $120/hour

Setting: Outpatient clinic with possible OR assistance if trained
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations

Diagnose and treat a range of urologic conditions

Collaborate with the attending urologist on treatment planning and follow-up care

Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care

Assist in operative procedures, if trained and requested

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies

Active New York PA license
-
NCCPA certification
-
Minimum 1 year of Urology experience

Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
