Position Summary
The Content & Communications Manager will manage the creation and direction of all content-related marketing initiatives at PA Virtual across multiple platforms and formats. The ultimate goal of these efforts is to increase website traffic, drive engagement, and generate qualified leads. Additionally, the Content & Communications Manager will be responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the school ensuring consistency in message and distribution frequency.

Essential Responsibilities
Build and manage a rich content / editorial calendar with the plan to publish 2-3 pieces of new content (blog, video, e-guide, “In the News” articles, etc.) each week
Publish blogs to meet content goals
Grow blog subscriber base and expand the overall blog's reach
Provide training and written guidelines for staff blog writersReview content, edit and provide feedback to staff blog writersWrite blogs as necessary to ensure publication goals are metPublish videos to meet content goalsRecruit talent, develop the script, and create a production plan for video content
Monitor and organize PA Virtual’s YouTube channel contentDetermine sources for content creation, both internally and externallyOptimize and promote content for search engines and lead generationReview and manage website content to ensure information is accurate and up-to-dateMake recommendations to the team for creating new landing pages and conversion opportunities for lead generation
Serve as the primary website editor at PA Virtual, adding new pages and content to the website as needed or requestedWork closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to develop content and ideas for new pillar pages, guides, and web re-designsResponsible for the overall editorial direction of PA Virtual collateral and print campaigns, which includes design, production, and distributionDevelop ideas for new print content as needed
Review and approve all downloadable marketing contentPartner with the Enrollment team to review marketing email campaigns, as necessaryAnalyze data on a regular basis and provide reports for content marketing effortsEnsure written and verbal content consistently aligns with our tone, brand, and missionWork closely with the Marketing team to brainstorm new ideas and develop new initiativesParticipate at PA Virtual Marketing events or programsCOMMUNICATIONSSupport the Chief Executive Officer on writing and producing urgent and timely communications (video or email)
Serves as the liaison between marketing and other departments to ensure the website, marketing materials, and other publications are up-to-date with school offerings and programsCommunicate with alumni to continue to build the PA Virtual Alumni networkOversees maintenance of the alumni social media page
Develops content calendar for alumni social media outreachResponds to inquiries via email and social media from alumniCollaborates with internal Public Relations teamEnsure that staff are kept informed of internal marketing objectivesNon-Essential Responsibilities :

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field3 years’ experience in a Marketing role required; experience in content management a plusExperience in a school setting a plusExperience using Hubspot preferredExperience editing websites preferredOther Eligibility Requirements / Qualifications :
