Job Summary- Pabst Labs is a leading manufacturer of Cannabis Infused Beverages under brands like PBR, Not Your Fathers and StIdes in the rapidly expanding California recreational cannabis industry. This role will be based in our Desert Hot Springs facility. We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Quality Control Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for conducting regular quality control tests, monitoring production processes, and ensuring that our products meet all industry standards. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply their experience in food and beverage manufacturing and quality control in a challenging and rewarding role.

Preferred candidates will have following

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the food and beverage manufacturing industry preferred, Cannabis Manufacturing preferred but not required.

· Experience with METRC, Quality Mgmt Systems, and Regulatory submissions

· Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Control, or a related field is preferred.

· Solid understanding of test equipment

· Familiarity with food, beverage, batch brewing or flavor profiling is a plus.

· Excellent organizational skills

· Strong communication, troubleshooting and interpersonal relationship skills

· Strong work ethics, a self-starter comfortable working in a new industry with rapidly changing landscape

Job Responsibilities including but not limited to

· Develop and maintain inspection reports

· Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws, as well as company standards and specifications

· Confirm all product meets Quality Standards according to SOPs

· Maintain calibration of quality control equipment

· Perform inspections across all stages of production

· Prepare and maintain test data for review

· Evaluate data and reports, noting relevant deviations from Company standards

· Identify areas for quality improvement, develop quality improvement processes, and implementation of new procedures accordingly.

· Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency

· Maintain workstation and equipment housekeeping standards

· Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours depending on demand

· Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

· Ability to climb and move around machinery

· Ability to kneel, stand or bend and be able to lift 50 pounds

· Ability to work at heights
