We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of our plant, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of water treatment processes, mechanical systems, and heavy equipment operation. The Plant Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards while optimizing plant performance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control plant operations using distributed control systems and logic controllers.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively as required.
- Perform routine maintenance and equipment repair to ensure all machinery is in good working condition.
- Implement water treatment processes according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including production data and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for data analysis and calculations.
- Experience with water treatment processes is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
