Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various machining processes. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and meets quality standards.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery including stamping presses and electrical discharge machining equipment.
- Fabricate components according to specifications using hand tools and basic math skills.
- Assemble parts and products, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings and GD&T standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Use cranes safely to move heavy materials or finished products within the facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues as they arise during production.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in machine operation.
- Familiarity with electrical discharge machining processes is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T specifications.
- Proficient in using hand tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
- Experience operating cranes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Pay: $25.28 - $30.20 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
