Position- Remanufacturing Technician

Role Overview: A Remanufacturing Technician is responsible for disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, and reassembling equipment to maintain its functionality and extend its lifespan. The role contributes significantly to operational efficiency by ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition and minimizing the need for costly replacements.
Key Responsibilities:
Disassemble equipment according to established procedures using the proper tools.
Clean all equipment components to remove contaminants like petroleum products and dirt.
Inspect parts for wear, damage, or corrosion, and perform minor repairs, such as replacing seals or worn components.
Reassemble equipment according to manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
Maintain an organized inventory of tools and spare parts used during the process.
Strictly follow safety protocols for handling hazardous materials and equipment.
Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to schedule disassembly and cleaning, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient in mechanical disassembly and assembly, with experience using manual and power tools.
Strong inspection skills to identify defects or damage in equipment.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.37 - $19.78 per hour
