We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our team. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, Hi-Los, and reach trucks to transport materials throughout the facility.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and material handling processes.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during material handling operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or material handling is preferred.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including lift trucks and other material handling machinery.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
- Ability to perform equipment repairs as needed is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
