Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Analyzes specialized orders and makes recommendations to dealers/customers
- Coordinates with product engineers as necessary to obtain input related to chassis components
- Provides technical guidance for changes during pilot inspections and feedback related to technical information.
- Contact dealers to clarify sales orders and/or make recommendations related to proper component usage.
- Helps implement and coordinate new programs
- Manage projects for continuous improvement initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Attendance is an essential function of all positions
Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate technical data
- Demonstrate high level of initiative and follow through
- Strong desire to learn new roles and activities within department
- Demonstrate and maintain high level of flexibility in role within department
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be capable of multi-tasking
- BS degree in Engineering preferred
- Three – five years truck or automotive experience with demonstrated understanding of mechanical devices and manufacturing processes
- Two years of PACCAR experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex tasks
- Familiarity of CICS system
- Proficient with Windows systems
- Must meet physical requirements of the position with or without accommodations
Education
BS degree in Engineering preferred
