The Paccar Technical Center is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the development and validation of emerging technologies such as vehicle electrification and autonomous driving systems. Work with professional engineers on hands-on projects and learn state of the art technologies! The Paccar Technical Center is located in scenic Mt. Vernon, Washington north of Seattle and south of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
As an intern in the Powertrain Validation and Systems Acceptance Engineering team at PACCAR, you will assist in the vehicle testing and validation of our electric and alternative fuel powertrain systems. You will participate in both hardware and software validation activities, contributing to the improvement of our vehicle systems' performance and reliability. This internship includes unique opportunities to :
- Participate in the validation of powertrain and electric vehicle systems.
- Assist in developing and executing test plans for system acceptance.
- Analyze test data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine testing protocols.
- Document and report test results accurately.
Qualifications
Education
Junior or senior working towards an Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree.
