SUMMARY :
Pace Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Account Executive within our Technical Field Service Division. This person will have the exciting opportunity to drive the sale of our full range of products and services, which include : Laboratory Instrument repair and maintenance, laboratory relocation, and facility services. This role incorporates a broad range of account management activities, from customer collaborations to coordinating with local operational colleagues, to providing technical consultative sales in pharma, biopharma, life science research, materials, and a wide range of applications.
The desired candidate should be highly self-motivated to develop and implement a territorial business plan, while working in unison with their manager in order to deliver a strong call cycle and business development activities. The foundation of the Account Executive role is to develop a keen understanding of the customers' needs to design solutions with lasting and meaningful impact.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Maintain contract renewal rates of above 95%
- Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts
- Visit customers daily to highlight Pace solutions and help customers with any technical obstacles in their way
- Build technical proficiency on Pace solution and to be perceived by customers as a credible resource
- Maintain current knowledge on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and other critical business information
- Fully utilize of our Sales Contact Management Tools and Applications
- Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts
- Develop business through monthly plan of action
- Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
