Job Role: Sample Receiving Technician
This position offers an opportunity to apply your scientific knowledge in a laboratory setting, working with samples and contributing to the success of our environmental testing laboratory.
You will be responsible for coordinating sample-related activities, including shipping, receiving, processing, and administration.
Maintaining accurate documentation and databases is essential in this role, ensuring seamless operations within the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform sample-related tasks efficiently
- Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and databases
- Participate in training sessions on laboratory support policies and practices
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not mandatory
- The ability to work in a lab or office setting, standing for extended periods, handling strong smells, and wearing personal protective equipment while handling samples
