Job Description
SUMMARY :
Responsible for the packing, packaging, and labeling sample kits / packages in a timely manner to meet customer needs and pack / shipping guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Pulls orders from the system and prioritizes based on project requirements / deadlines.
- Assembles kits according to guidelines and instructions.
- Maintains, orders, and stocks supplies to meet business requirements.
- Cleans sample coolers and prepares for future shipment.
- Keeps shipping area clean and organized.
- Reviews, completes and processes various standard types of logs, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
- Provides fundamental support in the application and assistance to staff and management regarding shipping policies, programs and practices.
- Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations pertaining to work performed; receives guidance and direction or escalates when required.
- Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
- Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent; experience in related work is preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. One year of experience in a lab or office setting is preferred.
