We are seeking a skilled Sr. Civil Engineer (PE) to focus on municipal project management at PACE Engineers (PACE). In this role, you will contribute to a variety of projects, ensuring that we deliver high-quality engineering solutions to our clients and communities.

Location : Lake Oswego, OR

Position Type : Full-time / Hybrid

Salary Range : $132,000 - $173,500

Our municipal team specializes in civil engineering services for municipal projects, including water and sewer, stormwater management, road and sidewalk design, and public works facilities. Sr. Civil Engineer - Municipal Project Management Key Responsibilities :

Client and Project Management

  • Play a key role in the continued growth of the company by identifying and developing new clients and projects
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for municipal clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills including the ability to develop scopes of work, budgets, and schedules during project planning, and the ability to deliver quality projects on time and within budget
  • Independently coordinate staffing and workload throughout the entire project development and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
  • Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate and adjust work effort with the team to ensure that work is completed
  • Demonstrate work experience in municipal engineering including water and sewer, stormwater management, road and sidewalk design, and public works facilities.
  • Work closely with junior engineers and staff, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Qualifications :
  • Education :
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Licenses :
  • Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain in Oregon).

  • Experience :
  • 10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on municipal projects.

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects.
  • Skills :
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to quality.
