Position Overview
PACE Fundraising, a leading fundraising consultancy serving nonprofit organizations in the North Central Region, seeks a dynamic and experienced Associate Fundraising Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional passionate about helping clients achieve their fundraising goals. The position requires at least five years of experience in fundraising or a related field. It entails extensive travel to work directly with clients and cultivate donor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement (80%)
- Partner with clients to plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising campaigns
- Conduct feasibility studies and strategic planning sessions with nonprofit leaders and boards.
- Build and manage relationships with prospective donors, leading solicitations for significant gifts.
- Facilitate donor presentations and solicitations.
- Business development securing new contracts (feasibility studies & capital campaign contracts).
- Provide on-site coaching and support to nonprofit staff and volunteers.
Internal Operations (20%)
- Collaborate with the PACE Fundraising team to develop campaign materials, reports, and donor communications.
- Contribute to the firm’s ongoing development by sharing industry insights and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and donor interactions using internal systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, sales, or a related field.
- Proven success in donor cultivation and solicitation, including securing major gifts.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire trust and collaboration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort with frequent travel and flexibility to accommodate client schedules.
