Responsibilities:
Material Handling: Efficiently move materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks, forklifts and other equipment.
Shipping: Prepare and package parts for shipment, load trucks, complete necessary documentation accurately, and ensure proper labeling.
Receiving: Unload incoming trucks, verify documentation, and inspect received materials.
Inventory: Participate in inventory management and reconciliation processes.
Qualifications:
- Metal Sanding experience required.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to personal and operational excellence.
- Excellent dependability and reliability.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new information.
- Proficiency in basic math.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks.
- Forklift experience is a plus!
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or similar environment is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move frequently for an 8-hour workday.
- Ability to regularly remain stationary at a workstation.
- Ability to frequently lift, move, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs.
- Ability to sit, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel.
